Tours of Scottish gardens for Russian visitors
I work with Moscow-based agency Profytravels to host tours of Scottish gardens for Russian visitors. In recent years I've taken groups around the finest gardens of East Lothian, the Scottish Borders, Fife, Midlothian and the Highlands.
Scottish garden owners have always been delighted to meet my Russian guests, who are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and eager to share ideas.
Russia’s shocking invasion of Ukraine has curtailed this relationship. I can only hope that a shared interest in the beauty of gardens and the natural world will, over time, help to heal wounds.
